this is a picture that would totally appear on a courtney perry blog, or maybe the wall of the DMN photography hall, of course by mrs. perry. if you all don't know who courtney perry IS, go here http://courtneyperry.com/pblog/index.php
the picture is actually of a dallas afternoon sunset shining through the filthy windshield of little perry.
just doing a drive by shoot and saw this. my library, that i've never visited to actually read or check out a book, only for assignments. ha. but there are quite a few people visiting for the porn access. check out the story, "Viewing hard-core pornography is as easy as obtaining a Dallas library card."
i actually read Al Día for the first time this year! not the center piece story, but a story a friend wrote.
okay okay, i lie...i didnt read the whole story, but i read some of it! yay! that counts for something...right? i think my Spanish would improve if i read the paper daily...but im so lazy. i barely read English newspapers. i know. im lame. =( ni modo. acs, or asi es. "jeje" = a latino laughing.
mi little truck. me likes. looks so pretty when it's cleaned. despite the peeling paint, scratches, used transmission, the bodily fluid stains, unknown smells and chaf tires, it keeps on trucking at 126,000 some miles. keep trucking, baby.
i walked by this picture the other day. nothing tooo special, im sure i would have got something better if i spent more time with it, whateva... im sure i'll see this photo again, so i'll update when i do..
i know, lame title. took me awhile to get the color to "pop" like i wanted. im sure there's an easier way of doing this "trick", but i probably did it the hard way. if you want this effect in your pictures you need photoshop, your picture, then desaturate it, then use the history brush tool to erase the black and white areas you want to be in color, last, be patient.
another dbs blog. made these pictures on my way home from the farmers market. remember, don't shoot and drive. or drink and drive. or text and drive, just drive.
well it's been a long ass time since i last posted. here are some portraits i made of my parents. i don't think they knew i was making pictures, or maybe they're use to me doing that. which is even better. i converted them into black & white, did some cropping (not much), and added curves. updates to come. stay tuned....
