Photography with a ELPH 520 HS.

Images from da hood

Here's a couple of images I recently shot during drive-bys.

Random photo.

I really like this shot, too bad the lines are naked. It's common in Dallas to normally see power lines filled with birds. Thousands of them. Oh well, not at this particular moment.

This is off 635. I've been waiting for a random opportunity to make a photograph like this. At first I didn't like the end result. Didn't like the position, didn't have enough time to make more photos, but that's okay. The pic has grown on me. I know I could make things easier to get the photograph I want, but for me that takes away some of the fun. I want a my photo ops for this blog to pop-up without necessarily looking or planning for them.

Don't shoot and Drive.

Well, it's a digital point and shoot camera with its normal digital noise. This camera doesnt hold up well to noise. It's great at 80 and 100. I shot the bird photo at 400 iso. At 800 to 1600 it can get rather noisy. At times I do add noise in photoshop, but no noise was added to this particular image.
